Dancing

The performance will feature Scottish highland dancing and Irish dancing which have been important parts of Celtic culture throughout history.

Highland dancing is a traditional form of dance that dates back to the 11th or 12th century. It requires both and artistic skill and was typically performed by both men and women to commemorate martial victory, conflict, joy, and other important events. Warriors also used it as a form of exercise.

Irish dance, also known as Irish dancing, is a traditional form of dance that originated in Ireland. It can be performed individually or in groups of up to twenty or more trained dancers. In Ireland, Irish dance is a popular form of social dancing and is also performed at formal events and competitions.
